Job description

6 months contract with a Local Authority

Job Summary:

•To monitor and review Supported People contracts and associated housing schemes, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements.

•This role involves maintaining accurate records, assessing client support needs, facilitating referrals, and providing performance reports.

•The role supports housing services by ensuring payments, support, and services are effectively managed in line with relevant policies.


Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample):

•Conduct service reviews of Supported People and other supported housing schemes to ensure contractual compliance and service quality.

•Undertake referrals to tenant support schemes and monitor outcomes, maintaining up-to-date computerised records.

•Assist in the review and implementation of local commissioning plans for Supported People services.

•Carry out housing-related support needs assessments and update client records accordingly.

•Prepare and submit regular reports on service performance, including monitoring against national standards and performance indicators.

•Administer client assessments under Fairer Charging policies and ensure accurate reconciliation of payments.

•Represent housing services at meetings, working parties, and resident forums, providing reports and presentations as required.

•Ensure adherence to financial regulations, health and safety legislation, and equal opportunities policies.


Skills/Experience:

•Experience working with the public, particularly vulnerable clients.

•Knowledge of housing and support issues, including tenancy law and welfare benefits.

•Experience in contract monitoring within housing or supported housing environments.

•Proficient IT skills, including use of housing management systems and office software.

•Excellent interpersonal, written communication, organisational, and administrative skills.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
