Job Summary:
• We are seeking a skilled and motivated Housing & Prevention Manager to support a team undergoing a significant service restructure.
• The primary focus of this temporary role is to deliver the cultural and performance changes required to drive service improvements across the housing service.
• The successful candidate will work closely with five Team Leaders who manage a total team of 25 Officers.

Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample):
• Lead and support the implementation of cultural and operational change across the housing and prevention service.
• Work directly with five Team Leaders to guide and influence the performance and development of a 25-member team.
• Identify and embed new working practices that align with the goals of the service restructure.
• Monitor progress and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Provide strategic support and guidance to ensure effective delivery of housing prevention services.
• Support team leaders in implementing staff engagement and cultural alignment initiatives.
• Promote a positive, performance-focused work environment.

Skills/Experience:
• Proven experience in delivering cultural change and service transformation, preferably in a public sector or housing context.
• Demonstrated ability to support and lead teams through periods of change.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and support managers and frontline staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Understanding of housing legislation (e.g. Housing (Wales) Act 2014) is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• The closing date: 21/08/2025.
• This is a temporary position (24 weeks) with flexible working options and a hybrid office requirement.
• Location: Office-based in South Wales (minimum 3 days per week).
