Summary
  • The L&D Consultant will collaborate with the Director of Organisational Capability to define the strategic vision and roadmap for the Academy's next phase. Building on its success in delivering onboarding pathways for casework roles, the Academy is evolving into a centre of excellence for learning, development, and talent management. This role is crucial in shaping the Academy’s future strategy, integrating upskilling, onboarding, BAU L&D, and talent management into a unified organisational learning offer.
Responsibilities
  • Develop a forward-looking vision for the Academy as the central hub for all learning and talent management activities.
  • Design a high-level strategy and roadmap for integrating upskilling, onboarding, BAU L&D, and talent pathways.
  • Define priorities, success measures, and milestones for the Academy’s evolution.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to align the Academy’s strategy with organisational goals.
  • Engage stakeholders to gather insights, test ideas, and build consensus.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, providing thought leadership on best practices in L&D and talent strategy.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in L&D strategy, organisational development, or talent management at a senior level.
  • Proven ability to set vision and strategy for large-scale learning or talent initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including experience at executive/board level.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and conceptual skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in integrating diverse learning and talent management activities into a unified offer (highly desirable).
Essential Qualifications Required
  • Degree or equivalent experience in HR, Learning & Development, Organisational Development, or related field.
  • Professional certifications in L&D or Talent Management (e.g., CIPD, ATD) are desirable.

  • Location: Exchange Tower, Harbour Exchange Square, London, E14 9GE, United Kingdom
  • Office requirement: 2 days in London office
  • The role requires a DBS.
