6 Month Contract with a local Authority
Job Purpose
- An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Family
Support & Children and Families Services as a MAST Early Help Manager. This
role plays a crucial part in supporting children, young people, and families by
ensuring early intervention and coordinated services. The Multi-Agency Support
Team (MAST) Early Help Manager will provide strategic and operational
leadership, overseeing casework, managing risk, and ensuring the effective
allocation of cases. The role involves working closely with social care, education,
health, and voluntary sector partners to ensure children and families receive
the right support at the right time.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Lead the MAST Early Help Team, overseeing
case management and service delivery.
- Ensure timely assessment, referral, and
allocation of cases to appropriate services.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies,
promoting best practices in Early Help.
- Manage team performance, ensuring services
meet agreed targets and outcomes.
- Provide expert advice and challenge to
professionals working with families.
- Supervise and develop staff, fostering a
culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Monitor trends in family support needs and
ensure high-quality record-keeping.
Essential
Experience Required.
- Extensive
experience in service management, development, and integration, including
strategic planning, workforce coordination, and service improvement to meet the
evolving needs of families.
- Demonstrated
leadership and management experience within Early Help, social care, or family
support services, with a proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and
drive continuous improvement.
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in monitoring trends,
using data to inform decision-making, and shaping service delivery to improve
outcomes for children and families.
Essential
Qualifications Required
- Relevant Qualification in field of work.
