Experienced Social Worker

Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough family assessments to identify needs and risks
  
• Hold cases of children on CIN and CP plans, providing ongoing support and intervention
  
• Initiate court proceedings when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of children
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to provide comprehensive support to families
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports
  
• Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences
  
• Provide advocacy and support to children and families to access appropriate services and resources
  

• Proven experience as a Social Worker in a CIN or CP team
  
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child welfare and protection
  
• Strong assessment and case management skills
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  
• A valid Social Work qualification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body
