Shift-Based Role with a Local Authority

Summary
  • This role involves working as part of a team to maintain a safe, supportive, and caring environment that meets the needs of individuals and groups residing in the facility. The position requires a positive, person-centered approach at all times.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other staff as a full and active team member.
  • Provide individual support to service users, aligning with the service's aims and objectives.
  • Adapt to flexible working arrangements, including weekends, evenings, waking nights, and sleep-in duties.
  • Participate in planning, delivering, and reviewing care plans, assuming keyworker responsibilities when necessary.
  • Act as an enabler for service users, encouraging independence rather than dependency.
  • Offer practical and emotional support while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Encourage and support service users to live as independently as possible.

Essential Qualification Required
