Summary:
Must have drivers license with access to your own vehicle!
Must be available for shift work and be available to be on call.
This role requires a dedicated individual to join a team committed to maintaining a safe, supportive, and caring environment for individuals who may not communicate verbally and may exhibit challenging behaviours. The position is crucial in ensuring the well-being and independence of service users, aligning with the company's values and the Challenge Charter. The role involves supporting daily activities, including cooking and cleaning, and requires access to a personal vehicle due to the site's location.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with the staff team, ensuring clear communication.
- Provide individual support to service users, aligning with service objectives.
- Adapt to flexible working hours, including weekends, evenings, and overnight duties.
- Participate in planning, delivering, and reviewing care plans, assuming keyworker responsibilities as needed.
- Empower service users to live independently, respecting their rights and choices.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies to protect vulnerable individuals.
- Facilitate service users' access to public facilities and community activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in collaboration with colleagues and service users.
- Complete administrative tasks as assigned by management.
- Engage in staff appraisals, supervisions, and meetings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection policies.
- Report equipment issues to management.
- Present a professional appearance in line with organizational guidelines.
- Undertake training as directed by management.
- Be prepared to work at different locations if required.
