Job description

Summary:

Must have drivers license with access to your own vehicle! 
Must be available for shift work and be available to be on call.

This role requires a dedicated individual to join a team committed to maintaining a safe, supportive, and caring environment for individuals who may not communicate verbally and may exhibit challenging behaviours. The position is crucial in ensuring the well-being and independence of service users, aligning with the company's values and the Challenge Charter. The role involves supporting daily activities, including cooking and cleaning, and requires access to a personal vehicle due to the site's location.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with the staff team, ensuring clear communication.
  • Provide individual support to service users, aligning with service objectives.
  • Adapt to flexible working hours, including weekends, evenings, and overnight duties.
  • Participate in planning, delivering, and reviewing care plans, assuming keyworker responsibilities as needed.
  • Empower service users to live independently, respecting their rights and choices.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies to protect vulnerable individuals.
  • Facilitate service users' access to public facilities and community activities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in collaboration with colleagues and service users.
  • Complete administrative tasks as assigned by management.
  • Engage in staff appraisals, supervisions, and meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection policies.
  • Report equipment issues to management.
  • Present a professional appearance in line with organizational guidelines.
  • Undertake training as directed by management.
  • Be prepared to work at different locations if required.
