2 months contract with a Local Authority
Job Summary:
• This role supports the delivery of high-quality tenancy management and housing services within a community-based setting.
• The postholder will work directly with tenants to ensure properties are well maintained, tenancy conditions are upheld, and residents receive the support they need to sustain their tenancies.
• This is a field-based position requiring regular travel to conduct visits and inspections across the housing stock.

Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample):
• Conduct tenancy audits to ensure homes are maintained to acceptable standards
• Carry out mutual exchange inspections to assess suitability and compliance
• Visit residents during their introductory tenancy period to provide support and monitor progress
• Undertake estate and block inspections to uphold environmental and safety standards
• Conduct accompanied viewings with prospective tenants
• Facilitate new tenancy sign-ups, ensuring tenants understand their rights and responsibilities
• Assist the compliance team with arranging property access, including gas entry warrants
• Support the property maintenance team with access for Stock Condition Surveys

Skills/Experience:
• Experience in social housing or tenancy management
• Strong understanding of housing legislation, tenancy enforcement and best practice
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse residents
• Confident conducting property inspections and estate walkabouts
• Ability to manage sensitive situations and resolve tenant-related issues professionally
• Proficient in maintaining accurate records and completing necessary documentation

Additional Information:
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle (requirement for role)
