• Team-based role involving duty system and rota basis
  
• Immediate and effective response to cases
  
• Understanding and utilizing recording system for case identification
  
• Conducting assessments and crisis response planning
  
• Safeguarding the welfare of children at immediate risk of harm
  
• Adapting Social Worker techniques to meet individual and family needs
  
• Managing allocated caseload with routine and complex interventions
  
• Consolidating and developing skills through mentoring and guidance
  
• Working as part of a team to support adults and children at risk
  
• Identifying and assessing risks, and minimizing them through support
  

• Formal qualification in social work
  
• Experience in social work interventions
  
• Ability to work effectively within a team
  
• Strong decision-making skills
  
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation
