Occupational Therapist (OT) - MHRA Review Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and focus on completing MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) reviews. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of bed levels and bed rails to ensure compliance with MHRA regulations. This role has been specifically created to address the local authority's list of cases requiring review, and the OT will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals using these facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of bed levels and bed rails to identify any potential risks or non-compliance with MHRA regulations.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement necessary changes and improvements to ensure compliance with MHRA standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and recommendations for future reference and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid OT license and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Proven experience in conducting assessments and reviews related to healthcare equipment and facilities.
  • Strong understanding of MHRA regulations and standards pertaining to bed levels and bed rails.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
