Job description

3 months contract with local authority

The Registration Service seeks a motivated individual capable of working independently, with a strong history of delivering exceptional customer service. This customer-facing role is crucial for providing outstanding service for routine inquiries and offering high-quality administrative support to a team of Registrars. The position involves handling and processing significant amounts of both manual and electronic information, where accuracy and confidentiality are paramount. Additionally, the role includes providing administrative support to the Coroner’s Court. The ideal candidate will excel in team collaboration and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service for routine inquiries.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to Registrars.
  • Handle and process large volumes of manual and electronic information with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Offer administrative support to the Coroner’s Court.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.


Requirements


  • Proven track record of excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams.
  • Accurate data inputting skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and calmly under pressure to meet statutory deadlines.
