The Youth Justice Service (YJS) is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Caseworker. This role will involve providing support within the designated geographical area of either Richmond or Kingston.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of children, young people, and families with diverse needs and risks related to offending behavior.
- Work in partnership with children and families to build resilience and sustain positive change.
- Implement Signs of Safety, trauma-informed, identity development, and whole family approaches to youth justice.
Requirements
- Experience in managing cases related to offending behavior and court proceedings.
- Previous work experience in a Youth Justice service is essential.
- Strong understanding of youth justice principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and partnership-building skills.
If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and their families, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
