2-3 months contract with a Local Authority
Job Summary:
• We are seeking a flexible and customer-focused individual to support the transition from analogue to digital telecare devices within domestic settings.
• This role involves visiting customers in their homes, installing and demonstrating new digital equipment, and ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for both customers and their carers.

Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample):
• Install and replace analogue telecare devices with digital alternatives in customers’ homes.
• Demonstrate the effective use of the equipment to customers and their carers/next of kin.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of installations and any relevant information gathered during visits.
• Communicate clearly and sensitively with customers, carers, and family members.
• Liaise with internal teams, external contractors, and equipment manufacturers as required.
• Always conduct yourself professionally and respectfully, particularly when working in customers’ homes.

Skills/Experience:
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer care ethos with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and patient manner.
• Aptitude for technology and confidence in using and demonstrating digital equipment.
• Basic DIY skills to support installation tasks.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Additional Information:
• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance is essential.
• An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
• Flexibility to work across various locations and adapt to different home environments.
