3 months contract with a local authority  

Job Purpose

• We are looking for an experienced Review Officer with extensive housing knowledge and the ability to complete both Part 6 & 7, Housing Act 1996 reviews.
  

Key Duties/Accountabilities

• Carry out Part 6 & 7, Housing Act 1996 reviews
  
• The successful candidate will be able to work independently, using their own initiative.
  

Essential Experience Required

• Experience of carrying out complex housing enquiries and producing well written, legally sound decisions is essential, as is the ability to liaise with solicitors and other representatives on a regular basis is essential.
  

Essential Qualification Required

• Good standard of education to include Maths and English GCSE Grade C and above or equivalent experience is essential.
  

Additional information to note

• Working hours: 35 hours per week.  
  
• Basic DBS is required for the role.
