ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR VACANCY X1 (3-months rolling)
Essential
- City & Guilds (Level 3) or equivalent
- IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition
- 5years+ previous working experience or in a
similar role
- Sound knowledge of Electrical Installations
(Domestic and Residential Buildings (Communal))
Essential Skills
- UK recognised qualification
- Proficient in written & verbal
communication
- Proficient in MS Office Packages
(Word/Outlook/Excel)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams
- Typical Tasks within role
- Surveys of Low/High rise buildings
- Report writing, Condition
Reports/Feasibility Reports
Inspections
- recording progress of Electrical Works on
site
- highlighting issues of Electrical Services
i.e. specification, regulatory, health & safety or engineering preference
- recording journey for project
- Liaising with Project Manager and/or
Project Engineer and attending Project Progress Meetings
- Customer Care – liaising with residents and
sometimes working out of hours (Time given back in Lieu)
- Working with colleagues and Stakeholders
i.e Project Managers, Quantity Surveys and Main Contractors
- Quality & Standards – Snagging with the
Main Contractor and recording for file and record
- Handover – Soft landings process to Repairs
& Maintenance
