We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to oversee the maintenance and security of our properties within the real estate/property management industry. The Caretaker will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of the properties under their care. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively address maintenance issues and ensure the satisfaction of tenants and property owners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of the properties to identify maintenance needs and security concerns.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as landscaping, cleaning, and minor repairs.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for larger maintenance and repair projects.
  • Respond promptly to tenant requests and address any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor and maintain security systems and protocols to ensure the safety of the properties.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property maintenance or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Basic understanding of security systems and protocols.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training is a plus.
