3 months contract with local authorities

Main Responsibilities:

• Promoting and maintaining independence for vulnerable adults using a strengths-based approach.
  
• Protecting adults at risk through the use of procedures to safeguard them from abuse.
  
• Assessing the needs of individuals and their carers in line with Care Act (2014) criteria.
  
• Formulating and implementing person-centered care and support plans with service users and carers.
  
• Monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating services to ensure they meet eligible needs.
  

Qualifications:

• Social Work Degree/CQSW/CSS/DipSW/OT/RGN/RNMH/RMN with community experience.
  
• For qualified Social Workers, registration with Social Work England.
  
• Either be a qualified best interest assessor or be willing to undertake the Best Interest Assessor’s training.
  

• Relevant degree or qualifications in social work or related field.
  
• Registration with Social Work England for qualified Social Workers.
  
• Willingness to undertake Best Interest Assessor’s training if not already qualified.
