2-3 month contract with a local authority

Summary
  • This 2-3 month contract with a local authority is designed to provide essential support for the London ADASS international recruitment programme. The role involves coordination, communication, data management, and administrative tasks to ensure an effective regional response to displaced international care workers. It also supports subregional partnerships in delivering ethical recruitment practices and pastoral care.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for displaced international care workers seeking support.
  • Monitor and manage the regional inbox, addressing queries and requests for assistance.
  • Process notifications regarding suspension or revocation of sponsorship licenses.
  • Coordinate support with affected councils and subregional partnerships.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).
  • Support meeting organization, including agenda setting and minute taking.
  • Contribute to communications efforts, including newsletters, social media, and website updates.
  • Provide flexible programme and project support across London ADASS initiatives.
  • Maintain and develop professional relationships with stakeholders across London, including senior officers, directors, and partner organizations.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
Experience and Qualification
  • Proven experience in supporting programme or project delivery in a public sector or social care environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with transformation programmes and change initiatives.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., public administration, social care, project management).
  • Project management training or certification (desirable).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Information
  • Working hours: 21 hours per week.
  • Interviews will take place on 21st November 2025, with the intention of the successful candidate starting on 15th December 2025.
  • This is a hybrid role requiring office presence for team days and meetings.
