Job Summary:
• We are seeking an experienced and proactive Housing Repairs Co-ordinator to join a busy Housing Repairs Service.
• This front-line role involves diagnosing repair requests, scheduling appointments, managing contractor workstreams, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
• The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong understanding of social housing repairs, customer interaction, and scheduling processes.

Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample):
• Accurately diagnose and log housing repair issues, raising orders via internal systems.
• Coordinate operative schedules and ensure effective deployment of resources.
• Deliver excellent customer service, managing high-volume inbound calls in a professional manner.
• Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal departments to resolve queries and complaints.
• Monitor progress of repair works and ensure completion within agreed service levels.
• Identify and escalate recurring service issues or complex cases as needed.
• Draft correspondence and provide administrative support related to service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, GDPR, and other statutory requirements.

Skills/Experience:
• Previous experience in a housing repairs or maintenance scheduling environment.
• Strong working knowledge of responsive repairs, social housing, and customer service processes.
• Proficiency using housing management systems and scheduling tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations empathetically.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage own workload effectively.
• Strong IT literacy, including typing speed of 30 wpm and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to assess priorities and problem-solve in a busy operational setting.
• Experience of working with or coordinating contractors and operatives.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and awareness of tenant vulnerabilities.

Additional Information:
• Full-time role: 35 hours per week, including shift work (early, mid, late) and one Saturday every four weeks.
• DBS clearance is required (Standard/Enhanced depending on position).
